About
I practice from a place of compassion, non-judgement, curiosity and respect, and believe that each client is the expert in their own lives. We will bring mindful attention and gentle exploration to your concerns and work to uncover your internal resources. With compassionate curiosity we will examine limiting beliefs and suspicions of self that drive unwanted patterns and bring compassion to those tender places in order to return to the truth about self and others.
I use a client-centered approach where we focus on your goals for counselling and draw on a number of therapeutic approaches, including: transpersonal psychology, Bowen Family Systems, Gestalt, narrative, person-centered therapy, mindfulness, somatic-mind-body, and acceptance and commitment therapy. Transpersonal counselling is centered on the spiritual aspects of human life and Family Systems theory is based on who you became in the family you grew up in.
